CLEARWATER PARADISE RESORT is a small, boutique resort on the north shore of the island of Guanaja in the Bay Islands of Honduras. Guanaja, known as the “Green Island,” is surrounded by reef with a wide variety of diving options including coral gardens, walls, tunnels, pinnacles and wrecks. Built and managed by the owners, George and Ginger, it has eight ocean-view, air-conditioned rooms, a full-service restaurant and bar, a game room (with darts, pool and foosball), a 15-foot round dip pool and six kayaks for guests’ use. The dive operation provides a 43-foot custom outfitted dive/fishing boat or a 26-foot panga, along with nitrox.
All packages (Diving, Snorkeling and Vacationers) include airport transfers, ocean view room, private bath with a large, walk-in shower and hot water, all meals, snacks on the dive/snorkel boat, coffee/tea with breakfast and limeade/tea with lunch, two to three dive/snorkel trips per day and a welcome cocktail. The seven-night package with double occupancy is $1,195 per person plus 19 percent Honduras tax.
