EXPLORER VENTURE’S latest live-aboard, Grand Sea Explorer, is a luxury vessel you can sail to discover the Red Sea’s Brother’s Islands, Daedalus Reef and Elphinstone Reef Marine Park sites. At 134 feet (41 m) in length, the Grand Sea Explorer is stable, spacious and offers smooth cruising. It accommodates up to 22 divers in 14 staterooms which all feature air conditioning, stereos, personal fridges and en suite bathrooms. During surface intervals, divers can relax on the covered sun decks, watch movies, listen to music or use the free WiFi. The Grand Sea Explorer has a water-level dive deck large enough to accommodate all divers with individual stations. Three professional guides are in the water on each dive. Certified divers receive free nitrox. The dives will put you on dramatic reefscapes and sightings of thresher sharks, whale sharks, mantas, oceanic whitetips and hammerheads are common. An optional land extension to sightsee the pyramids of Cairo in Egypt is available.
