The Pelagic Fleet is proud to present the Socorro Vortex, their new vessel sailing to Socorro and Guadalupe. The Socorro Vortex is a former Canadian Coast Guard vessel and is 140 feet in length and powered by twin 1250HP MTU Diesel Engines. Peter Hughes, who now works with The Pelagic Fleet, has overseen the conversion of the Socorro Vortex to ensure it meets the highest standard of luxury, comfort and safety. Only 14 divers will be accommodated in a truly elite environment. Packages aboard the Socorro Vortex start at $6,000 for 9-day charters; $7,500 for 11-day charters and $10,000 for 15-day charters. All rates include three gourmet meals per day, snacks between meals, a selection of beverages that includes soft drinks, mixed drinks and Baja California beer and wine with dinner. Also included are all port fees, fuel surcharges and national park fees, so there are no surprises.
