Built by Aventura Boats in the Dominican Republic, the first one is due to arrive in time for the festive season. Designed by the in-house dive team, these dive boats will be the newest on the island and boast an over-sized camera table, built in rinse tanks, marine head and a capacity of 40 tanks, allowing a maximum of 20 divers onboard — although Sunset Divers likes to cap numbers to 16. The boats are 36 foot (11 m) in length with a 14-foot (4.3-m) beam. They have two 250 Honda outboards producing a maximum speed of 25 knots. With extra speed, divers will be able to reach Northwest Point dive sites in no time. Enjoy the festivities at Sunset House, with space still available during the Christmas week.
