THE VILLA ON DUNBAR ROCK resort is located approximately 7 miles (11 km) east of Roatan and 36 miles (58 km) north of the mainland of Honduras. Perched on a cay with 360-degree views of Sandy Bay, Guanaja and surrounding cays, this resort blends beauty, serenity and a laid-back, inviting atmosphere. The 15,000 square foot (1,395 m) property rises from the white sand beach and PADI/SSI dive center up four levels to areas that include nine Ocean Front Rooms and two Suites, all with private patios or balconies. There are multiple terraces for lounging, an infinity pool and pool bar, cardio/massage room and great room with its comfortable living/dining area. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Guanaja’s reef systems offer a mixture of pinnacles, vertical walls, lava tunnels and wrecks.
Seven night Saturday to Saturday packages are $1,995 per person based on double occupancy including Ocean Front accommodations, gourmet meals and happy hour snacks, Managers welcome party, Wi-Fi, up to 3 boat dives daily (excluding day of arrival and departure), unlimited tanks for shore diving “around the rock,” complimentary boat transfers to and from Guanaja Airport and island tours conducted by their staff. Tax and gratuities are not included. Packages for stays in the Presidential or Penthouse Suite are $2,495 per person based on double occupancy.
