Scubapro’s C370 Regulator Second Stage

What is it?

The new C370 second stage by Scubapro has an air-balanced valve that smooths out the inhalation effort regardless of depth or the amount of air in your tank. That air balancing results in a 10 percent improvement in breathing effort over the earlier C350 second stage. Incorporated in the design is a super-flow hose that features an oversized bore that allows more air to flow on each inhalation. The C370 has a diver-adjustable inhalation effort knob and Venturi-Initiated Vacuum Assist (VIVA). It is constructed of a fiberglass reinforced nylon casing, Stainless steel frame on the front cover and new exhaust tee design that aids with diver inhalation effort. It is finished with a compact style high-flow mouthpiece designed to improve airflow as well as mouth comfort. It weighs in at 0.38 pounds (171 g) and allows airflow of 1,600 liters per minute at 3,000 pounds per square inch (200 bar).

Benefits to your diving

The C370 second stage is adjustable to the way you breathe, which will reduce respiratory fatigue. Its compact size does not take much space in your dive bag but, even though small in size, it still has a large purge button that is easy to use even when wearing gloves.
