SeaLife’s Micro 2.0
What is it?
The successor to SeaLife’s popular Micro HD, which is billed as the world’s first permanently sealed underwater camera. The Micro 2.0 features a 16-megapixel Sony® CMOS image sensor, which provides vibrant stills and sharp high-definition videos with 1,080-pixel high definition at 60 frames per second or 1,296-pixel high definition at 30 frames per second. The 130-degree wide-angle fisheye lens allows divers to get close and fit everything into the scene. Color correction filters are unnecessary. Choose between four Land and Sea™ scene modes with three built-in underwater color corrections for diving or snorkeling, and by depth or lighting being used. The camera’s lens focuses as close as 1 foot (30 cm); that distance can be cut in half with an optional Macro close-up lens.
Compact at 4 inches (10 cm) wide with a 2.4-inch color liquid-crystal display screen, the Micro 2.0 has three “Piano Key” controls that control all the camera’s essential functions. Two shooting modes are provided: time lapse and upside-down. Time lapse mode saves the footage as a video file or a series of still images based on the set time interval. The upside-down mode corrects pictures and videos to an upright position when mounted upside down. The camera is fully sealed and flood-proof to 200 feet (61 m). With no O-rings or doors to maintain, the Micro 2.0 camera comes equipped with three-hour-plus internal rechargeable battery and 32GB or 64GB of internal memory.
Benefits to your diving:
The large keys make it easy to operate with or without dive gloves, and you’ll seldom miss the shot with the fast shutter response time and one-touch video recording.
