TUSA Soverin Buoyancy Compensator Jacket (BCJ)
What is it?
The Soverin BCJ (BCJ-4000) represents a collection of TUSA’s best BCJ features and technology in a newly designed wrap-around style jacket. The Soverin offers value along with comfort and durability. The BCJ-4000 features 500D Cordura® nylon construction along with a newly developed high-density three-dimensional foam in the shoulders, backpad, and lumbar regions. The jacket also incorporates a newly redesigned Independent Harness System (IHS) with hard carry handle, Ultimate Stabilizing Harness, and Waist Support System to give ample support and comfort in and out of the water. TUSA’s integrated Advanced Weight Loading System (AWLS) and rear trim pockets hold up to 28 pounds (12.7 kg) of weight. In addition, the Soverin offers several features including depth-compensating cummerbund, knife grommets and an adjustable sternum strap.

It’s about comfort. The IHS isolates the BC jacket’s harness from the air cell, tightly supporting the tank even with changes in air cell inflation/deflation. The IHS prevents tank slippage and eliminates any gaps between the tank and your back. TUSA claims the Waist Support System significantly enhances comfort and fit by dispersing the weight load around the hips and integrates the adjustable shoulder harness system with the rear stabilizing plate and cummerbund to effectively unload the hips while ensuring a snug fit.
