As the world isolates to battle the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re all feeling like fish out of water. That’s why now, as we continue to observe social distancing guidelines, it’s important to fight #FODO – fear of drying out – in any way we can.
We’re calling all divers to participate in the #FODOChallenge. Post a photo or video on social media using the hashtag #FODOChallenge. There’s no right way to fight FODO. You can spend time looking through dive photos, read your log book, enlist a friend to splash water on you, do a workout in dive gear…whatever floats your boat! The point is to find a way to stay connected to the water and scuba diving so that you’re ready to splash down after lockdown.
On this page we’re rounding up our favorite entries from the #FODOChallenge. We’ll update it daily with new posts – be sure to tag your photos with #FODOChallenge to be featured!
Note: The #FODO Challenge, #FODO, #FearOfDryingOut and #FightFODO initiative is purely for entertainment purposes only and is not intended to cure any real or imagined fear of drying out, or any dryness-related phobias or actual illnesses that may or may not be caused by dehydration or lack of moisture.
Here’s a contribution to the #FODOChallenge initiative from my son Stephen and I. Enjoy! #FODO #FightFODO pic.twitter.com/DZSDBqLxCV
