What is it?

The DX-6G Compact Camera and Housing Set is an all-weather rugged sports camera that is at home scuba diving, skiing, fishing or mountain climbing. The 6G camera is equipped with a 5x zoom lens from a wide-angle. A 16 megapixel CMOS (complementary metal oxide semiconductor) is integrated with a high-performance image engine to produce low-noise and wide dynamic range images. It has a macro mode to enable you to focus as close as 0.4 inches (1 cm), enabling you to enlarge photos of small objects and the included macro ring diffuses light from the built-in flash evenly. And the underwater mode corrects for white balance, making colors appear natural by adding back in the reds that get lost in most photos taken underwater. The video function produces a high definition movie and the HDMI terminal allows easy connection to a television for viewing. DX-6G camera itself is rated to a depth of 46 feet (14 m) and when inside the underwater housing it is good to a depth of 180 feet (55 m). The sturdy package is impact resist to a 5 foot (1.6 m) drop and will function to a temperature of 14 degrees Fahrenheit (-10 degrees Celsius). It is equipped with two fiber-optic cable sockets for attachment to compactable external strobes.

The set comes with the 6G camera, housing, a macro flashlight diffuser with strap, hand strap for DX-6G, power adapter, rechargeable lithium-ion battery, macro stand, USB cable, strap for 6G, silicon grease and an O-ring remover.
