Aqua Lung Pearl Buoyancy Compensator
What is it?
A wrap-around jacket-style buoyancy compensator (BC) for women. It offers an adjustable waistband and curved shoulder straps that provide a customizable and comfortable fit. In support of the American Cancer Society, the Pearl is offered in pink and for every sale of the BC, Aqua Lung will make a cash donation to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer research.
The Pearlās hybrid design provides the best of both worlds: an ADV (Advanced Design Vest) jacket style combined with a back-inflation unit that allows divers to float comfortably at the surface and creates a streamlined profile during the dive. An advanced air cell design has sleeker, lower-profile lobes and a shorter torso length to create a comfortable fit on the hips, and the low-profile flat valves reduce drag when divers move through the water. The patented SureLock IIā¢ Mechanical Weight Release System allows divers to easily insert the weight pouch, and an audible āclickā lets you know the weights are secure in the BC. Once engaged, the weights can be released with a firm pull of the handle.
