SHERWOOD SCUBA AXIS BC 800
What is it?
Sherwood’s Axis is a back inflation style buoyancy compensator (BC) that features their new Three Point Harness (3PH) system that allows micro adjustments to the waistband, shoulder straps and cummerbund to provide the diver a comfortable fit and a stable BC. The shoulder straps connect at the front of the waistband to support the weight integration while an additional set of straps at the back of the harness connect to the shoulder and waistband pulls the scuba cylinder up against the small of your back to eliminate tank shifting. It sports an improved pocket design (featuring pockets that are 25 percent larger than in the past), upgraded bronze pulls and zipper and packs down well for transport.
