What is it?
The Remora SOLO is a cordless, battery operated, handheld underwater scrubbing and cleaning tool. Designed for both professional and boat-owner use, Remora SOLO makes short work of hull cleaning. Unlike other land-based tools that were adapted for submerged use, the Remora SOLO was designed from the bottom up as an underwater cleaning tool to insure durability and performance. It has a powerful, reversible gearmotor, variable speed control and nine-inch (23-cm) diameter brush. It runs off of a 21 Ah (ampere hours) lithium battery that allows it to clean for up to six hours on a single charge. It comes with a Remora SOLO powerhead, a brush/impeller, a impeller hub assembly, a 21 Ah battery pack and a battery charger set. It weights 8.8 pounds (4 kg), has a speed of up to 250 revolutions per minute (rpm) and is recommended to a depth of 22 feet (6.7 m) with a maximum depth of 36 feet (11 m). It is 17.4 inches (441 mm) by 5 inches (126 mm) by 10.7 inches (272 mm) in size and has adjustable buoyancy ranging from 0.5 to 2.5 ounces (14 to 70 g).
