Ocean Reef’s Snorkie-Talkie
What is it?
The Snorkie-Talkie is a device created by Ocean Reef that allows you to talk with your buddies while snorkeling, even if you are some distance apart. It consists of a transmitter that snaps onto the tube of your Ocean Reef full face snorkeling mask and an integrated speaker that connects to the transmitter via a silicone hose. The Snorkie-Talkie is waterproof up to 9.8 feet (3 m), but does not work when the transmitter is submerged. It has four different channels and it is compatible with standard radios. The battery is rechargeable and provides up to 8 hours of operating time and the signal range stretches up to 1,000 feet (305 m) in any direction.
