SEABOB
What is it?
An underwater propulsion vehicle billed as the world’s fastest multifunctional water scooter. Built to reach depths of 132 feet (40 m), the SEABOB’s drive mechanism is provided by lithium manganese accumulators. The carbon, ceramic coatings and saltwater-resistant precious metals contribute to its lightweight design. The newest models, SEABOB F5 and F5S, weigh in at 64 and 77 pounds (29 and 35 kg), respectively. Divers maneuver the vehicle using two control grips with Piezo buttons and a TFT color display on the mini dashboard.
Benefits to your diving
Because of the minimal effort required to operate a SEABOB, divers consume less air and can stay longer at depth exploring their underwater environment.
